Differences Between Hymn And Her

Posted by Overheard In The Ward on December 14, 2009

Woman bearing her testimony: My husband always would say that we were singing the hymn on page number such-and-such and I kept telling him that it is a hymn number not a page number. If you count the pages, it does not match up with the hymn number so it is hymn number and not page number. He has started to say hymn number now, so I’m thankful for that.

I can’t decide if this lady is really easy to please, or incredibly difficult to please. For that, she gets 5 stars.

Hymn number vs. page number… She may be rambling during her testimony but she is right. Get with it Saints… it’s HYMN NUMBER!

This might well have happened in my area, a blathering thankimony about petty personal matters. At least this one touched on something peripherally related to church.

What the bleep is the matter with people?! Shut up and sit down. For one thing, how could anyone care about something so meaningless, and for another, what does this have to do with the truthfulness of the gospel? LIKE JESUS CARES.
